This week, group one returned to the beach, where their curious minds took them on an adventure of exploration:
"The waves are so rough today, they seem angry."- Alice
"I want to find all the sea glass in the world."- Fred
"Come on, let's see how far we can go!- Jacob
"It is so foamy."
"The water is coming after us!"- Ben
Mr Hahn joined Beach School today and he couldn't contain his excitement, look at all the fun he had....
Children started to throw stones in the sea and were fascinated to see how far they could throw them into the water.
"Mine is going super fast, I'm not sure where it went."- Aaron
"I wonder where mine will end up."
"This stone is so big, I'm going to see if I can find another one."- Annabella
"Lets watch these waves crash off the floor."- Isabella
"The water is trying to get me!"
Back at school, in our Beach Hut, the children used some of their sea glass finds to make their own sea glass art. Take a look at some of their masterpieces!
Thank you to our grown-up volunteers for supporting our morning and thank you for the kind donations which enabled the children to have their ice cream treat!
We still need two volunteers to support group three on Monday 3rd December. Please sign up if you can help.
