We started our session with a delicious ice cream. Again, the children had beautiful manners and were a credit to our Beach School.
At the beach, the children explored the beach.
A huge talking point of todays session was the litter on the beach. The children were very upset and asked to pick it up. We decided that next time, we will bring gloves and litter pickers with us so that we can tidy our beach safely.
"I'm just so cross. Why would people do this? It will kill the fish!" Ella
"I love the pattern on this rock. It's beautiful!" Hope
"Look up, the clouds are moving." Hope
Ashton loved getting buried in the sand.
"I've found some sea glass." Max
The children were interested to learn some facts about the heritage of the beach.
In our beach hut, we enjoyed exploring and making our own sea glass art.
Thanks again to our wonderful volunteers who support our Beach School.
We can't wait for our adventures after Christmas.
